ArcGIS Online

 Intro

    This week's lab we worked with ArcGIS creating maps utilizing the different tools present on the site. ArcGIS Online provides three tutorials that teaches users different techniques in implementing their site's resources.

Urban Map 

   The first tutorial had us create a map that designates population density and represent it on a cyan to purple color scale.

 Houston Hurricane

    The second map we created was a map of Houston that highlights the best hurricane evacuation routes and highlights areas with household car ownership that could be utilized for an evacuation.

Recreation Facilities


    The third map created from the tutorials highlighted recreation centers in the area.

3D Scene

    The final map we created was a 3D scene that introduced to the site's tools that allowed us to play physical objects onto the map based on data.
